Data & Insight Analyst

We’re looking for a Data & Insight Analyst to work on our core offering and business products to help shape the future data driven communication and intelligence. You will enjoy working with some of the brightest minds in our industry, cutting edge technology, and the ability to see your insights turned into real products on a regular basis.

The Data & Insight Analyst should have a passion for data, working with business people, and creating solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing, modeling and interpreting large datasets. This role will spend time working independently and as part of a team and will focus on specific deadlines as defined by the management team.

This position is based full time in our San Antonio, TX office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with large datasets: facts, figures, and number crunching. You will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
  • You will often be called to present findings or translate the data into an understandable document. You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
  • Must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
  • Be vigilant in analysis to come to correct conclusions.
  • Assists in content management and permissions management within the established SharePoint environments.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks.

Required Skills

  • Experience with requirements gathering, use cases, task planning, business process documentation, and the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC)
  • 3- 5 years experience analyzing, modeling, and interpreting large datasets
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • 1-2 years of MSSQL, POSTGRESQL, or MYSQL experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, computer science, or related field
  • Experience using visualization tools, e.g. tableau, looker, periscope

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology

Data Scientist

The candidate will have a background in applying data science techniques to social or business problems, will have experience working with medium to large-scale datasets, and will have demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making. You are focused on results, a self-starter with an appetite for improving their skills, and have demonstrated success in using data science to drive the understanding, growth, and success on behalf of clients.

This position is based full time in our San Antonio, TX office.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your data science expertise to real business problems, from data acquisition,
    processing and modeling, through to the presentation of your results, communicating to
    stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Have a keen sense of self-management to find the most efficient and effective solutions that add most value for our clients, choosing the right metrics to demonstrate your effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing our core business data products.
  • Building insightful dashboards, reports and presentations.
  • Automating analyses and authoring pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL framework.
  • Support other members of the company, both in the data science team and outside it.
  • Commit to good working practices (including version control, code reviews, writing documentation).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience delivering data science products and/or services in commercial environments for at least 1 year
  • Master’s in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other similar quantitative field
  • Experience of SQL/relational databases.
  • Development experience in any scripting language (R, Python, C++, etc.)
  • Can communicate complex topics to non-specialist audiences effectively.
  • Knowledge of statistics (including statistical distributions, Bayesian inference)
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees in a technical quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar)
  • Experience delivering data science products and/or services in commercial environments in a range of sectors, particularly digital marketing
  • Experience of Python and knowledge of the data science stack (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy)
  • Experience communicating the results of analyses with product and leadership teams to influence the strategy of products
  • Experience of big data architectures (e.g. Lambda, Hadoop) and/or cloud computing (e.g. AWS/Azure/GCloud)
  • Experience of unit testing and version control.
  • Designed or conformed to modern IT and data security standards.
  • Experience scoping technical projects, and/or leading technical teams.

Researcher

This is an exciting opportunity for an early career researcher to gain experience in designing innovative solutions in market and/or political research.

The perfect candidate will have a background in social science and should have experience in designing research surveys, and other quantitative and qualitative research methods for both market and/or political research and conducting analysis of results. They should be comfortable working with research vendors to get surveys in the field in a timely manner and be able to communicate effectively the results to all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in statistical analysis techniques in any statistical language (SPSS, Mplus, R)
  • Experience in literature searches
  • Experience in communicating the analyses results to all backgrounds
  • Good report writing skills
  • Knowledge of AAPOR and other professional research guidelines
  • Good communication and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in relevant social science, expertise in consumer psychology or consumer behavior is a plus
  • Experience in applying social science expertise in market and/or political research
  • Experience in R and Mplus
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques (factor analysis, regression, sampling and power, clustering, weighting)
  • Experience in preparing visually compelling research reports is a plus

Service Delivery Manager

We’re looking for a Strategic Service Delivery Manager to work on our core offering and business products to help shape the future data driven communication and intelligence. You will enjoy working with some of the brightest minds in our industry, cutting edge technology, and the ability to see your insights turned into real products on a regular basis.

The perfect candidate will have a background in service delivery, specifically focused on large enterprise clients, and will have experience in delivering on-going relationship management. The Strategic Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will act as the conduit between the customer and other operational teams. The SDM will build strong customer relationships and act as the customer advocate for customer satisfaction and communicating service level performance. The SDM will work closely with other business units to ensure deadlines are met, drive solutions to customer issues, and drive customer satisfaction.

This position is based full time in our San Antonio, TX office.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with key client personnel for the purpose of ensuring satisfaction with day to day activities/deliverables
  • Cadence includes both remote and regular on-site meetings
  • Manage customer satisfaction via appropriate account relationships and assuring cross functional execution of commitments
  • Establish regular communication cadence for assigned accounts in accordance with account tier
  • Function as single point of contact for escalations and communication focal point for satisfaction issues
  • Monitor project status, conduct/lead project status reviews with clients
  • Identify and contribute continuous improvement initiatives to the client and delivery teams
  • Assure follow up on Root Cause Analysis efforts with applicable service failures and communicate resolutions back to affected customers
  • Support customer related tactical projects as needed
  • Continue to inform clients of available portfolio solutions and capabilities
  • Participate in briefings with AEs to discuss client status, key initiatives, issues and communication coordination
  • Work with Account Executives to coordinate account relationships, their alignment with AE/TAM roles and for addressing points of concern, follow-up, escalation and resolution within an account
  • Other tasks assigned as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3 – 5 years relevant service/relationship management experience.
  • Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Superior communication, organization, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in IT industry
  • Prior experience in Marketing industry
  • Experience in writing/delivering sales proposals
